The New Year
Big GrinYes, it has been six months since my last journal entry. Much has happened in the time since. I began working on two writing projects: a Civil War novel based tightly on my great-great-grandfather who was a Confederate Soldier, 1st cousin of Devil Anse Hatfield, and went on "French Leave." The novel will outline the reasons he joined the confederacy and the reasons he left. It will not bode well with those who think the south should have won!
The second project is a screenplay adaptation of the Christian novel, "In His Steps" by Charles M. Sheldon. It will be set in our current times and will deal with the lack of integrity I see in the Christian right. But it will also show how inept the anti-Christian sentiment expresses itself, as well.
These projects have been borne our of my photography and inform it as well. My focus on projects has increased.
